Our client, a leader in their field, requires an ambitious and highly motivated Service Desk, 2nd Line person to join their team. The opportunity to progress to 3rd line is huge and you will cover some 3rd line issues and problems as well as 2nd line work - you can follow a technical route in your career - or pursue other interests, such as testing / development - they are a software house so the IT opportunities are endless!
You will need to have worked in a Software House, or an internal Service Desk department for a large firm - your customer service skills must be excellent, high value customers, however your problem solving ability again needs to be very strong. You will only deal with approx 5-10 problems a day - but they will be more complex fixes, utilising your problem solving technique to get them right. You will not cover 1st line problems.
You must have technical support experience on a service desk, ideally dealing with external clients - or internal clients in a large firm.
