One of the largest law firms in the world is looking to recruit a proven Conflicts Analyst into their Glasgow team.
We are looking for an individual who can work closely with the firm's Global Head of Conflicts and Senior Conflicts Lawyer to ensure effective compliance controls and procedures are in place for the avoidance of conflicts of interest and protection of confidential information.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has prior experience in analysing and resolving conflicts of interest and managing confidential information at a large law firm or other professional services institution to join a growing team. The ideal canddiate will have :
- An understanding of Elite and the billing processes, including a familiarity to use Elite to generate reports for the Conflict of Interest Checking Process and check client information for the Client Due Diligence and Matter Opening processes is desirable.
- Can analyse low to medium difficulty legal issues, producing accurate and reasoned opinions on a range of regulatory issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Code of Conduct and/or Section B of the Law Society of Scotland Standards of Conduct and an ability to apply them in practice is desirable
